Pilates Sunday stretch set up with foam roller and mat

Pilates Sunday Stretch Set Up

Okay, can we talk about Sunday mornings for a second? Because I genuinely think they are the most underrated part of the week. No rush, no agenda — just you, some quiet, and the perfect excuse to actually take care of your body.

This is my favorite time to stretch. And honestly, once I started treating it like a little ritual instead of a chore, everything changed. So, I wanted to share my go-to Sunday stretch set up with you — in case you need a little nudge to start your own.

Create Your Space

First things first — set the vibe. Roll out your mat, maybe light a candle, put on something calm. I use the ReStore' Pilates & Yoga Mat and honestly it makes such a difference having something that actually stays put and feels good under your hands and feet. When your space feels intentional, your body just... relaxes into it.

Start With Support

If you're not using yoga blocks yet, please hear me out. They are a game changer. I used to skip poses because I couldn't quite reach, and now with the ReStore' Yoga Blocks Set of 2, I can actually settle into each stretch properly. No straining, no wobbling — just real, supported movement. Your hips and hamstrings will thank you.

Activate Before You Stretch

This one took me a while to learn but cold muscles really don't love being stretched. I spend about 5–10 minutes doing light resistance work with my Pilates Resistance Bands first — some lateral walks, glute bridges, maybe a few clamshells. It wakes everything up and makes the stretching feel so much better after.

Roll It Out

Okay this is my favorite part. After stretching, I spend a few minutes with the ReStore' Pilates Foam Roller just slowly working through my spine, calves, and hamstrings. It feels incredible and honestly, it's the reason Monday mornings don't destroy me anymore. If you haven't tried foam rolling post-stretch, add it in this Sunday. You're welcome in advance.

Your Sunday Reset

That's really it. It doesn't have to be long or complicated — even 20–30 minutes of this and you'll feel like a completely different person going into the week. I hope this gives you a little inspiration to carve out that time for yourself.

You deserve it. Happy stretching!

Take care 🤍 — ReStore'
